Insurance Credentialing Services That Turn Approvals Into Billable Revenue

A credentialed provider earns. An uncredentialed one costs you money every single day they see patients. That’s why Revnex Billing Care manages the entire credentialing and payer enrollment lifecycle from CAQH, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial panels, EFT/ERA, to recredentialing. Our goal is for your effective dates to arrive on schedule and for your claims to remain clean from day one.

Get Credentialed. Get Enrolled. Get Ready to Bill.

Insurance credentialing shouldn't keep your providers waiting to see patients or your staff buried in paperwork. Revnex Billing Care provides you with end-to-end insurance credentialing and provider enrollment services to help healthcare practices become participating providers with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans. From gathering provider documents and maintaining CAQH profiles to submitting payer applications, tracking enrollment status, responding to payer requests, and managing recredentialing, our team handles the administrative work behind the process. We want you to spend less time chasing payers and more time running your practice.

Can a provider see patients before credentialing is complete? Yes, a provider with an active state license can see patients, including self-pay patients. What they generally cannot do is bill commercial payers or Medicare for those visits until the payer issues an approved effective date. Some payers allow retroactive billing back to the application or effective date; many do not. We confirm retro-billing eligibility payer by payer before you schedule the provider.

What Our Provider Credentialing Services Cover

New Provider Credentialing and Insurance Panel Enrollment

We build the credentialing file from the start for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists, counselors, dentists, chiropractors, and allied clinicians. This includes collecting documents, supporting primary source verification, submitting applications to all target payers at the same time.

CAQH ProView Profile Build and Attestation Monitoring

Most commercial payers and many state Medicaid programs pull provider data directly from CAQH ProView. An incomplete or expired profile can delay all pending applications at once. We build the profile, upload and version-control supporting documents, authorize the correct payers, and track the re-attestation cycle so it never expires mid-review.

Medicare Provider Enrollment Through PECOS

We handle I&A account setup, CMS-855I and CMS-855B applications, group reassignment, change-of-information filings, revalidation requests, and Medicare Administrative Contractor correspondence. We usually submit applications through PECOS and follow up with the MAC if there are delays.

Medicaid Provider Enrollment and State Portal Management

Medicaid is fifty different programs with fifty different rule sets and managed care plans add more requirements. We manage state portal registrations, MCO enrollments, ordering/referring registrations, and the state-specific forms to help avoid application delays and corrections.

Commercial Payer Contracting and Panel Negotiation

We prepare and submit to national and regional carriers including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, Humana, Molina, Centene affiliates, TRICARE, and regional IPAs and networks. If a panel is closed, we prepare the required network-need justification.

EFT and ERA Enrollment

An approved contract that pays by paper check can create payment posting problems. We set up electronic funds transfers (EFT) and electronic remittance advice (ERA) with each payer and make sure ERAs reach your clearinghouse and practice management system correctly.

Recredentialing, Revalidation, and Expirable Tracking

Credentialing is an ongoing process, not a one-time task. We track licenses, DEA registrations, board certifications, malpractice coverage, CLIA certificates, CPR/BLS, and payer recredentialing dates. We start each renewal well before the deadline to help prevent expired credentials and compliance issues.

Group Roster Management and Location Adds

Adding a location, changing a tax ID, merging practices, or onboarding multiple clinicians are ongoing tasks. We manage bulk roster updates, demographic changes, and directory accuracy to make sure your providers appear correctly in payer directories where patients search for care.

How Credentialing Helps Your Practice

Access More Patients

Patients prefer providers who are “in-network.”

Get Paid Faster

Approved credentialing means no reimbursement delays.

Stay Compliant

Avoid payer penalties and compliance risks

Protect Your Practice’s Reputation

Credentialing builds trust with patients and insurers.

Focus on Care, Not Paperwork

Let specialists handle the admin work while you treat patients.

Credentialing Is the Foundation of Your Revenue Cycle

With many years of experience, we understand that a credentialing mistake does not stay in the credentialing department. It can show up sixty days later when you face a denial and nobody can explain these reasons including wrong payer ID, provider not on file, out-of-network processing, or claims paid to the wrong tax ID.

Because Revnex Billing Care handles credentialing alongside full-service medical billing, revenue cycle management, and front office management, enrollment data enters your billing workflow already checked and verified. If you are starting from the start, our medical practice startup services coordinate credentialing with entity formation, licensing, and system setup so each step moves forward together.

If you think enrollment problems are already costing you money, our medical billing audit can show you exactly how much.

Why Choose Revnex Billing Care for Credentialing

Parallel submission as standard

We never wait for one payer to finish before starting the next. This simple approach can save weeks on most timelines.

A documented follow-up cadence

Silence from a payer is not progress. Every application in your file is contacted on a fixed schedule and the contact log is yours to review.

Reporting you can act on

A live status view of every provider, every payer, every effective date, and every upcoming expiration, instead of an email chain to make everything together.

Credentialing people, not generalists

Our enrollment team works with payer portals every day. They know which MAC escalations help move a file forward and which payer emails are unlikely to get a response.

Billing context behind every decision

We know what a bad tax ID or a wrong effective date does to a claim ninety days later, because we work those denials too.

How long does insurance credentialing take?

Medicare enrollment through PECOS takes 60–90 days. Medicaid can take 60–120 days while commercial payers take 90–150 days. Multiple payer enrollments also take 120–150 days to become active.

Credentialing verifies a provider’s qualifications. Payer enrollment connects the provider to a billing entity, tax ID, and location so claims can be processed. A provider can be credentialed but still unable to bill without enrollment.

CAQH commonly requires re-attestation every 120 days. An expired profile can delay pending applications, so we at Revnex Billing Care monitor attestation dates closely.

Common documents you need include an NPI, state license, DEA registration, board certification, diploma, malpractice coverage, work history, references, photo ID, W-9, and EFT details. Some practices also need CLIA certificates and state-specific documents.

Revnex Billing Care in the US handles credentialing, payer enrollment, revalidation & renewals at one place. Our team monitors applications, checks in with payers and provides you with clear status reports.
